How does the video QR code work?
Add a video to your postcard and its QR code opens the recipient experience in a browser. The recipient can scan it with a phone camera; no separate app is needed.

Add the video
Use the video option in the message step. Select a clip and wait until it has uploaded and finished processing before continuing.
The current upload supports videos up to 60 seconds and 200 MB. Check the preview and any extra price shown before checkout.
Watch it
The recipient scans the printed QR code with their phone camera and opens the link. Available video plays in the browser. They do not need to install Snailmail or create an account to open an available recipient link.
Treat the QR code as private
Someone with the QR link may be able to open its content. Do not post it publicly if the video is personal.
Video access is available for up to 90 days from upload, unless it is removed or access is restricted sooner. See Video access and expiry.
