Orders & delivery
How does postcard delivery work?
From checkout to the mailbox: see when printing starts, how to check an estimated arrival and what to do if a card is late.
Updated
1. Checkout and address
After you pay, a postcard can move into production once its recipient’s address is ready. If it says Waiting for an address, add and confirm the address (or approve a shared address) before the deadline shown in My orders. The postcard stays on hold until then.
2. Printing
Once the address is ready, allow approximately 2–3 working days for production before the postcard is handed to the postal service. Weekends and public holidays can delay this step.
3. Postal delivery
The postal service carries the postcard to its destination. In My orders, open the postcard to see its journey and any estimated arrival window available for that destination. Estimates are not guaranteed, and some destinations do not yet have an estimate. Temporary mail restrictions, weekends, public holidays and local postal delays can affect delivery.
Postcards travel as ordinary post, so updates may pause after posting. Expected to have arrived means the estimated window has passed; it does not confirm the recipient has received the card. Postcards are not tracked like signed-for parcels.
If it hasn’t arrived
If an estimated window has passed, or no estimate is shown and your postcard seems late, open the postcard in My orders and choose Didn’t arrive? Let us know. We’ll review the order and, for eligible cases, provide one complimentary replacement postcard. This is not an automatic refund. Read our delivery promise and My postcard hasn’t arrived.
