I started with a photo from my camera roll and expected to spend ages fiddling with it, but the whole thing was surprisingly quick. I tried two styles, moved the text a little, wrote the message on the back and added my sister's address. The preview made it really clear what would be printed. She sent me a photo when it arrived and it looked better than it did on my phone.
The Postable alternative for cards only you could send
Postable makes sending nice cards easy. Snailmail makes them unmistakably yours.
Start with a photo, a memory or an inside joke, and Snailmail turns it into a finished design in under 30 seconds: a card that's personal to them and unmistakably from you. Write the message in your actual handwriting, add a video they can watch from the card, and collect addresses with a link. Postage is included, and they keep it for years.
Made in under 30 seconds · Postage included · Preview before you pay
Easy is good. Unforgettable is better.
Collecting addresses and mailing cards for you saves time. Snailmail does that too, and then helps you make the card itself something they'll keep for years.
Made in seconds. Kept for years.
Add a photo or an idea and Snailmail turns it into a finished design in under 30 seconds. No design skills, no fiddly templates.
Personal to them. Unmistakably from you.
Send a holiday card that looks like your family, with your dog in a Santa hat, the family joke or last summer's trip, not a generic "Happy holidays". It's personal to whoever gets it and unmistakably from you.
Your words, in your hand
Write your message on paper, snap a photo, and we print your real handwriting on the back. It's the difference between "Happy birthday" and your "Happy birthday".
A card that talks back
Add a video of up to 60 seconds. They scan the QR code on the card and watch it in their browser: your voice, your face, on the fridge.

What senders say
Real experiences, from making a postcard to sending it.
Postcards in the wild
Made one on my phone while waiting for a train. Uploaded a holiday photo, used one of the suggested previews or whatever, changed the headline and then wrote the msg. I liked that I didn't have to create an account before I knew I actually wanted the card. Checkout could be easier.
I used atemplate because I had absolutely 0 design ideas. Swapped in my own picture, changed two words and was done. My friend kept it on her fridge which is probably the best review I can give.
I thought the AI bit would be gimmicky but it gave me a really good looking card! Loved it, and I am anti AI usually… but this was a pretty good use of it I think.
Was happy with the result.
Used it to say “thank you” after a weekend with friendls. I chose the flower design, edited the text. Pretty cool with my own handwriting !!!
Made for the way you actually send cards
Holiday cards from your family, not a template
Make one design that looks like your family and change the words for each person, or mix up to eight designs in one order. The more cards you send, the less each one costs.
Don't have Grandma's address?
Mark her as "Address later" and pay for the whole order. Or send her a private link: she shares her address, the surprise stays a surprise, and she doesn't need an account.
No membership, ever.
No packs, credits or subscriptions. Designing is free and you can preview everything first. You pay for printing and postage, per card, only when you send.
We've got you if the post doesn't.
If a postcard doesn't arrive, tell us from My orders. For eligible non-delivery cases, we send a replacement free of charge.
Sending a big batch of identical cards?
A card service like Postable handles a big mailing. If each card should feel like it really comes from you, with a design and words that fit the person, made in under 30 seconds, you're in the right place.
Good to know
Choose Snailmail when you want the card itself to be personal and unmistakably from you. In under 30 seconds you can make the design from your own photo, memory or joke, print your real handwriting (not a font), and add a video. Postage is included in the price, and you can still collect addresses with a link.
Yes. Snailmail's price includes printing and postage, so there are no stamps to add. Postable's listed card prices are "plus stamp".
Yes. Write a short note on paper with a dark pen, take a photo, and we prepare it for printing on the back of your postcard. It's printed, not hand-copied by someone else.
Add a video of up to 60 seconds in the message step. We print a private QR code on the card, and they scan it with their phone camera to watch in the browser, no app needed. The video price is shown before you pay.
Of course. Use your photo exactly as it is, or shape it into something new in under 30 seconds. Both are free to design.
No app. Snailmail works in the browser on your phone or computer, and you can start designing without an account.
