I started with a photo from my camera roll and expected to spend ages fiddling with it, but the whole thing was surprisingly quick. I tried two styles, moved the text a little, wrote the message on the back and added my sister's address. The preview made it really clear what would be printed. She sent me a photo when it arrived and it looked better than it did on my phone.
The Touchnote alternative for cards only you could send
Touchnote puts your photo on a card. Snailmail lets you make the card itself.
Start with a photo, a memory or the joke only the two of you get, and Snailmail turns it into a finished design in under 30 seconds. It's personal to them and unmistakably from you: your dog in a Santa hat, not a generic "Happy holidays". Add your own handwriting and a video they can watch from the card, and we print and post it. They keep it for years.
Made in under 30 seconds · Designing is free · No app, no membership
A photo on a card is nice. A card only you could send is unforgettable.
Most photo-card apps work the same way: pick a layout, drop in your photo, type a message. It's quick, and it's lovely. Snailmail is for the cards that should feel like they really come from you.
Made in seconds. Kept for years.
Add a photo or an idea and Snailmail turns it into a finished design in under 30 seconds. No design skills, no fiddly templates.
Personal to them. Unmistakably from you.
Send a holiday card that looks like your family, with your dog in a Santa hat, the family joke or last summer's trip, not a generic "Happy holidays". It's personal to whoever gets it and unmistakably from you.
Your words, in your hand
Write your message on paper, snap a photo, and we print your real handwriting on the back. It's the difference between "Happy birthday" and your "Happy birthday".
A card that talks back
Add a video of up to 60 seconds. They scan the QR code on the card and watch it in their browser: your voice, your face, on the fridge.

What senders say
Real experiences, from making a postcard to sending it.
Postcards in the wild
Made one on my phone while waiting for a train. Uploaded a holiday photo, used one of the suggested previews or whatever, changed the headline and then wrote the msg. I liked that I didn't have to create an account before I knew I actually wanted the card. Checkout could be easier.
I used atemplate because I had absolutely 0 design ideas. Swapped in my own picture, changed two words and was done. My friend kept it on her fridge which is probably the best review I can give.
I thought the AI bit would be gimmicky but it gave me a really good looking card! Loved it, and I am anti AI usually… but this was a pretty good use of it I think.
Was happy with the result.
Used it to say “thank you” after a weekend with friendls. I chose the flower design, edited the text. Pretty cool with my own handwriting !!!
Made for the way you actually send cards
Holiday cards from your family, not a template
Make one design that looks like your family and change the words for each person, or mix up to eight designs in one order. The more cards you send, the less each one costs.
Don't have Grandma's address?
Mark her as "Address later" and pay for the whole order. Or send her a private link: she shares her address, the surprise stays a surprise, and she doesn't need an account.
No membership, ever.
No packs, credits or subscriptions. Designing is free and you can preview everything first. You pay for printing and postage, per card, only when you send.
We've got you if the post doesn't.
If a postcard doesn't arrive, tell us from My orders. For eligible non-delivery cases, we send a replacement free of charge.
Just want a photo printed as it is?
A photo-postcard app like Touchnote does that job. If you want a card that's personal to them and unmistakably from you, made in under 30 seconds, you're in the right place.

Yes. Write a short note on paper with a dark pen, take a photo, and we prepare it for printing on the back of your postcard. It's printed, not hand-copied by someone else.
Add a video of up to 60 seconds in the message step. We print a private QR code on the card, and they scan it with their phone camera to watch in the browser, no app needed. The video price is shown before you pay.
Of course. Use your photo exactly as it is, or shape it into something new in under 30 seconds. Both are free to design.
No app. Snailmail works in the browser on your phone or computer, and you can start designing without an account.
