I started with a photo from my camera roll and expected to spend ages fiddling with it, but the whole thing was surprisingly quick. I tried two styles, moved the text a little, wrote the message on the back and added my sister's address. The preview made it really clear what would be printed. She sent me a photo when it arrived and it looked better than it did on my phone.

Personal artwork
You know them. Make a card that shows it.
A favorite pet. A shared adventure. An inside joke. Bring it into the artwork—not just the message.
Turn real moments
into something special.

Maya's friend started from Make a Wish, added a photo of her dachshund and one instruction, and ended up with a birthday card only Maya would get.

No photo needed. One line about how he really is became a birthday card made for him.

“Make her dachshund the birthday baker. Keep this painted style.”
“He treats making coffee like a science experiment.”
More personal than picking a card.
There's no perfect thing to say, and that's okay. Start with something gentle and true: a favorite flower, a place they loved, a photo or a memory you can share. Turn it into soft artwork, or choose a calm design and bring that detail into it. Then write a few kind words on the back. We print and mail the postcard, so something steady arrives in their mailbox long after the calls have quieted.

Postcards in the wild
Made one on my phone while waiting for a train. Uploaded a holiday photo, used one of the suggested previews or whatever, changed the headline and then wrote the msg. I liked that I didn't have to create an account before I knew I actually wanted the card. Checkout could be easier.
I used atemplate because I had absolutely 0 design ideas. Swapped in my own picture, changed two words and was done. My friend kept it on her fridge which is probably the best review I can give.
I thought the AI bit would be gimmicky but it gave me a really good looking card! Loved it, and I am anti AI usually… but this was a pretty good use of it I think.
Was happy with the result.
Used it to say “thank you” after a weekend with friendls. I chose the flower design, edited the text. Pretty cool with my own handwriting !!!
Sent a baby card to friends abroad. It arrived in time, thank you!
Life saver to be able to import 20 contacts:D I sent one to all of my friends for Thanksgiving. No idea it it will arrive, yet but I certainly hope so ;)
I sent the same postcard to four people from a trip. Adding the extra addresses was much easier than recreating the card each time. That was good. I wish there were more designs to choose from for trips, tho.
I made a congratulations card for my NIECE. I put her fav toy in there as a reference. HOW DID YOU MAKE HER AN ASTRONAUT?! :D : D :D
I did the entire thing one-handed on my phone while holding a baby, so points for that. Also cool that I could add a video. Didnt do that but will think of a good occasion!
I was skeptical because most personalized-card sites look so cheap, but thought I’ll try this one for its cool designs. Likes the AI stuff as well. Crazy stuff really.
Good to know
Keep it short and sincere. Say you're sorry, say you're thinking of them, and, if you can, share a small memory of the person who died. Offering help is kind, and the best offers are specific, like “I'll bring dinner on Thursday.”
Yes. A short, thoughtful card is a kind way to reach out. It's mailed without an envelope, so choose a quiet design and write words you'd be comfortable with others seeing.
As soon as you hear the news is best, but it's never too late. A card weeks or months later, or on the anniversary, can mean a lot when the first wave of support has passed.
Address it to the person closest to the one who died, or to the whole family, like “The Smith family”. If you only knew the person who died, say how you knew them.
Yes. We mail worldwide, with a few exceptions (see our delivery page). Add their address and we print and post it for you. Cards to other countries take longer, so send it soon.
Yes, and it can feel more personal at a time like this. Your message is printed on the back. Type it, or write it on paper and add a photo of the note to print it in your own handwriting.
